Kim du Toit has details of another home invasion. This time it was an unstable ex-boyfriend who was breaking in & the lady's new boyfriend who stopped the threat.
& as Kim says a shotgun is a very good basis for a home defense system. But what's most important is that whatever type of firearm you rely on for intruder protection it should be accessible & in a ready-to-use state (i.e. loaded). & while it was very cool that this lady had a new love in her life to handle things it's very important for any person, male or female to have enough familiarity with their firearm of choice to defend themselves in such a situation.
