Yes; I've resorted to Prince album notes in place of orignal post titles.
I was checking out Dr. Wadcutter's place & found the site for the libertarian candidate for Colorado governor. Her name is Dawn Winkler, she's pro-gun & she has a blog. Check her out.
Posted by Publicola at September 5, 2006 02:36 PM | TrackBackUh-oh. A quick glance at the first page of her blog shows a quiz re banning Hg from vaccines, and a remark about big pharma. I hope she's not one of the quicksiver-quack anti-vaxxers. Remember that Libertarian candidate a while back who turned blue from eating silver compounds? I hope she and he are not, like, opposite sides of the same coin.

She does seem rather obsessed with vaccines. If you read her bio, apparently her infant died and she suspects it was due to the mercury in a vaccine. As I surmised at my site, she may be running for governor simply as a means of getting her message on vaccines out.
I'm dubious about the dangers of vaccines, and in any case, I think I'd rather expose my child to their dangers than those of polio or smallpox. Then again, I'm not a medical doctor and I haven't really studied the issue much.
Posted by: Cutter at September 6, 2006 09:28 AMI noticed the first two comments being somewhat crtical of the Libertarian candidate for governor of Colorado for her position on vaccines. My Aunt is in a wheelchair because of having received a Hep B vaccine. So for all you nay sayers out there, I happen to think that there is cause for concern here. And apparently, so does Congress.
I saw that the Libertarian Gubernatorial candidate urges support for HR 5887, "Vaccine Safety and Public Confidence Assurance Act of 2006" (which is also endorsed by the National Autism Association). For more information visit: http://releases.usnewswire.com/GetRelease.asp?id=69803
Please email your U.S. Representatives asking them to SUPPORT H.R. 5887. You can send your Representative a pre-written e-mail

There is nothing more silly or contradictory than claiming to be Libertarian and Pro-choice. Libertarian should mean that you believe in the liberty and rights of all human beings. Other people's rights should not be taken away just because it's inconvenient for you that they continue living.
