In News From Outside The u.S.

Cali gun gestapo rolling again. BATFU "helping". So to all my Cali readers I have this message for you. From friends.

Chair against wall. Chair against wall. Charlie has a long mohawk. Charlie has a long mohawk. Sic Semper Kalifornication.

Seriously, if you're in Cali it's not too late to escape.

From Of Arms & the Law:

"Officers from the Los Angeles County Gun Task Force in CA have begun serving search warrants on residents in that county who are suspected of holding un-registered "Assault Rifles" including 50 BMG target rifles."

I'd be curious to know how they know who has the allegedly proscibed arms. Not surprised, just curious to see which method they're using. If they're using the form 4473 & it's the ATFU that's doing the research then I'd say an argument can be made that they're using federal funds to use an operational gun registry, which is prohibited by federal law. But this is Cali & unless such a matter lands on Kozinski's desk then it'll come to no good end.

As Say Uncle said:

"Here’s hoping they turn all their ammo in first."

But as Say Uncle previously said:

"Sure, I made a half-hearted comment about sending guns to Connecticut but its pointless because I can’t send them balls."

Cali has point of sale registration for handguns. I don't know if they have the same for long guns, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. If so, it would be easy to use the first round of registration to determine who had cheated the second.
