A while back I wrote a post about the murder of a family in Indiana. I got a little grief from a commenter because he (I presume) thought the idea of teaching a 12 year old to defend himself & his family with a firearm was barbaric & unreasonable. The Smallest Minority comments on a post of Zendo Deb's about a 12 year old in Greenville, S.C. who pulled a gun on a gang that was in the process of beating up his dad during a home invasion.
Ah South Carolina; a 12 year old protects his kin, an elderly lady opts for the .357 cause she's just redecorated & you can still have a smoke in a bar. If only they didn't prohibit open carry...
