A.R.T. Day Reminder

June 23rd. If that date seems familiar it should. It's the day SCOTUS handed down their decision in Kelo v. New London. You can read some thoughts on that decision & its implications in a post of mine called Fire On The Mountain.

In it I made a suggestion. On June 23rd everyone who is able go to a range & expend 1 cartridge for every year since the Bill of Rights was ratified. This year that'd be 215 rounds. It can be any cartridge or combination of cartridges (so long as you have a firearm that will safely chamber them), but if you can use something that starts with a .3 you'll make me happy. If you can take a newbie to the range with you that'll make me especially happy. What good will it do? Probably none, but it's as good an excuse as any to hit the range.

American Range Trip Day. June 23rd.

I refuse to limit myself to only 215 rounds. hell, I do more than that just warming up with .22...

I'm in! However I'm not going to waste my time with only 215 rounds. That's called a slow tuesday around here.

Even though it doesn't start with .3, my 7.62x39s will surely qualify me for the ART day, since it can effectively deliver a message to those who believe that the RKBA applies only to sporting purposes, when it's actually intended to keep tyrants (and libtards with tyrannical aspirations)at bay.

Good idea, but if I shot over two hundred rounds into a target it would be completely shredded...hey maybe not so bad after all....

If we go thru all the .32 shorts the wee wifey still has from when her father bought the little revolver for her would that count? Starts with a .3.
