All Women Aren't Easy Prey

Nashville Files has some good news: them southern belles know how & when to shoot.

'The two women retreated to an upstairs bedroom as the suspects kicked in the back door,'' [police spokesman Don] Aaron said. ''As one of them came to the doorway of the bedroom where the two women were hiding, the older cousin, who had retrieved a pistol from a nightstand, fired one time. The intruder was hit and died at the scene from a gunshot wound to the head.''

& local cops seem to have done the right thing - at least in part:

"Police did not release the names of the women."

Course I assume they stole confiscated the firearm in question.

Nice to see self reliance is still being practiced in the South. Especially nice when said self reliance was a headshot on the first try. Most people (including myself) will tell you to aim at the center of mass for numerous reasons, but in this case a headshot worked just fine.
