Snow Related Note

I realized two things while just digging out my car (yes I'm fool enough to drive in this mess we have out here - a front wheel drive stick shift will make a person brave):

Happiness is having a pair of warm waterproof boots taller than the snow level.

I still have not achieved happiness.

I disagree with your definition of happiness.

Happiness was the year that it snowed 28 inches and two college girls thought they would be smart and make quick cash digging out cars for $15. They assumed the plows cleared pretty close to cars in every parking lot, not realizing that mine had more than 4 feet of 28 inches packed behind it. With the fee already paid, they couldn't back out of it. Yeah, that was happiness.

Of course you disagree with my definition of happiness; you have boots that are taller than the snow level. :)

But what can I say? I'm merely a simple gun nut with simple dreams - & most are minor to medium caliber. :)

& that you didn't back out when the job was harder than you thought it would be speaks very well of you miss Bitter.

Oh it wasn't me that had to dig it out. It was me knowing when I was getting a deal to pay someone else to dig my car out. :)

Ah. mea culpa. But I was right about the boots thing though wasn't I? lol
