Working through some things related to the Munuvian black out of late last week. If you notice the site being a little different it is. I'm trying to get things straightened back out as we speak...er type. (Date changed to keep this post at the top)
Posted by Publicola at August 29, 2005 01:27 AM | TrackBackPublicola, That is a beautiful M1 in your header. Did you refinish the furniture yourself? Just curious. I am the proud new owner of a Springfield Armory M1 myself...just bought it at the last gun show (in one of those heinous (and perfectly legal) deals wherein no licensed dealer was involved and no NICS check was conducted...gasp!). Fired it for the first time last weekend and it operates flawlessly although the weather was not good enough to zero it and see what kind of group I could get. I'm planning to accurize it to the best of my meager ability and use it in the Atlantic Fleet Rifle and Pistol match next spring.
Anyway, I enjoy your blog and would be honored if you took a look at mine, Captain of a Crew of One, if you ever get the chance.
Keep up the good work.
