The lovely & talented Miss Annika is well on her way to becoming a gun nut. Course considering the fine work she did at the range I should probably stop calling her "miss" :) For the pertinent stats: Sig 226 at 15 & 20 yards respectively. 20 rounds on paper (since it is California she was limited to ten round mags). The one in the 8 ring was a called flyer. The one just left of the nose wasn't. :D I wonder if she'll change the blog's name to (ahem) "Annika Oakley's Journal, Poetry & Range Reports"?
Now we just need to get her to a free state where she can see how fun it is to not have to load a mag every ten rounds. Stop by & let her know she did well, both in the decision to go the the range & the results thereof.

Listen to me, i'm an expert now.

The enemy line I was referencing was the one seperating America from California. She's solidly behind enemy lines. I'm hoping she'll escape as the resistance cells out there don't seem to be gaining much if any ground.
But if you doubt me look at Cali's gun laws. Not the worst in the country but close & they're working on it. Then look at how much socialism has openly crept into the state economic structure. I could go on but it's not that hard to see that Cali is in the hands of the enemy & those non-marxist, non-statists that remain are behind enemy lines. Ditto for the good souls stuck in D.C., Chicago - hell Ilinois for that matter, Jersey, NY & Mass.

Posted by: Zendo Deb at August 18, 2005 11:03 AMi'm going to take the Cali Firearms Safety Certificate test today. i read through all the laws and it seems to me that Cali's gun safety laws are specifically designed to prevent anyone from using a gun for their own safety. So my question, oh wise bard of ballistics, is this: if Cali does not have the worst gun laws in the country, who does? and on a related note, i hear tell that Canadian gun laws are pretty restrictive. Are there any decently industrialized nations that recognize the rights of gun owners similar to or better than the US? i know the UK isn't, and Australia is debating guns right now.
