Communities And Carnivals

The Truth Laid Bear has gone through some changes. One of them is the addition of a "Communities" page. There's one called Gunbloggers. Guess what it's about? Many thanks to SayUncle for putting things together.

There's also one which I just petitioned for membership in. It's called Life, Liberty, Property & is run by fellow Munuvian Eric. Go have a look.

There's also another nifty new feature at TTLB: a page devoted to blog round ups called UberCarnival. No more trying to remember where the Carnival of the Cordite was hosted at last week (actually all it would have taken was looking at the Carnival of the Cordite blog, but that doesn't make it sound as convenient to have the UberCarnival). One glance at the UberCarnival tells you that No. 19 was at the Revolutionary War Veterans Association Weblog.

Also Gullyborg points to the Carnival of Liberty which hasn't been added to the UberCarnival page yet. It's being started by the LLP community from the TTLB. Sounds promising. Look for it to be up by Monday.

June 23 was the 15th annual Blow Up The World picnic, BBQ, and day at the range. Firearms ranged from .22 pistols, through every gun ever used by the US infantry, to a 2-ga smoothbore, and the 10 in bowling ball cannon. The kids too small to shoot the real guns got to fire the cannon. A great time was had by all.
