Good Online Training Tool

Are you interested in teaching your good some aspects of tactical drill? If so, you should check out this online game.

I know what you're thinking. It's a simple flash game where you play a bespectacled academic standing his ground in a cemetary, desperately trying to hold off the zombie hordes that are clawing their way to the surface. How in the world could this be a useful teaching aid?

The guy you're playing won't reload until he empties his gun and drops the hammer on an empty cylinder. This is pretty much the way it is in real life, where you don't realize how many rounds you squeezed off until you run dry.

Another aspect is that of ammo discipline. You can't perform a tactical reload, but you can empty a partially loaded gun into the distance when there's a lull in the action. That way your character will reload and you'll have a full cylinder when the zombies gather to overwhelm you with numbers.

Go ahead and give it a try. It's free, and it's a great deal of fun.
